Ryan Botha

Ryan is a South African artist, born and raised on the coast of KwaZulu-Natal, but now resides in the BC, Canada.

His deeply personal and intimate work invites viewers into the depths of his mind and subconscious self. Through a series of multimedia pieces, Ryan explores his journey with bipolar disorder, offering a unique perspective on how it affects his spiritual and temporal nature.

His artworks range from mixed multimedia drawings, digitally manipulated fine art photography, where he intertwines figurative reality with the abstract subconscious in poignant portraits usually linked to nature and especially water.
