Amani Moussa

Born in Cairo in 1991, Amani Mousa is holding a BFA from Helwan University , Graphic Department and one year Diploma from ITI (information technology institute) 2015.
Her work is influenced by Cairo's architecture and the stories behind it's buildings. The seemingly chaotic black and white prints of tower blocks , their outer walls peeled away ,revealing an urban dollhouse vision of the constant flux,noise and frenetic energy of cairo.
Amani puts all the surrounding environment with her own perspective in a contemporary landscape through the use of printmaking ,she narrates the story of one of the oldest,most cultured and overpopulated cities in the world,and the millions of families that call it home.
Amani's work is part of private collections in Egypt,France,Qatar,Australia,Kuwait,china and other countries.
