While I never studied art formally, I started doing sketches at the age of 12 and graduated to charcoal portraits soon after. Once married I stopped painting for 30 years given that I had a full time job and a young family. My daughter encouraged me to start painting once again in 2013 and since then I have used various mediums such as oil, acrylic, water colours and charcoal/Indian ink.
