Nina Camplin

Nina Camplin is a mural artist specialising in trompe l'oeil, with a background in graphic design and illustration.

Nina has worked on many public art projects nationwide, receiving commissions from various Councils including Luton, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Southampton, Isle of Wight, Dorset and Poole and has won 2 Design Awards for her subway murals in Luton.

She has also done private illustration and design work for major companies such as IBM, Whitbread, Luminar Leisure and various car accessory manufacturers.

Nina has displayed her work in numerous shows and exhibitions. Her subject matter is vast, concentrating on capturing a mood or atmosphere and using any appropriate material she can find for that purpose, from traditional watercolour, pastel and oils to more unusual media such as collage and ink & bleach. She also uses the computer, treating it as an alternative medium, which can be used to create experimental digital imagery.
