Sladjana Buhovac

Sladjana Buhovac is an accomplished artist born and raised in Sarajevo, former Yugoslavia. She is the holder of a BFA degree, majoring in sculpture from the University of Fine Arts in Belgrade. She arrived in Canada in 1997, and as a Federation of Canadian Artists member, she has since participated in several juried exhibitions, successfully winning three awards for best sculpture. Her main interest in her sculpture work is portraying the human form, as depicted through her artwork. Recently she started painting in watercolours.
