I am a Russian artist and illustrator, born in 1963 in Donetsk (Ukraine). For me, art is a game, a spectacle in which I am actor, director, and set designer. I can be anyone or no one, travelling through real and mythological times. The changing of sets and costumes is but a pretext to create a kind of theatricalization that becomes a tool for artistic reflection — a pictorial language capable of expressing both the festivity and the dramatic exaltation of life. My philosophical approach to art is to be like a liquid: able to take on any shape without losing my essence.. Some of my works are held in the collections of the Dario Mellone Foundation and the Banca del Monte di Lucca Foundation; the Civic Gallery of Norilsk and the Museum of 20th–21st Century Art in Saint Petersburg (Russia); the Art Gallery of Donetsk and the Fairy Tale Museum of Kyiv (Ukraine); and in private collections across Russia, Israel, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Thailand, Finland, Norway, Germany, Belgium, France, Poland, Hungary, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Italy, and the Netherlands.
