Mariam Dashtoyan

I am an Armenian painter whose work explores the dialogue between color, emotion, and the unseen. My art is deeply rooted in personal experience, spirituality, and the beauty of everyday life. Through layers of paint and texture, I seek to capture moments of silence, memory, and faith.

Painting, for me, is not only a visual act but also a form of prayer — a way to listen to the voice within and to express what words cannot. My inspiration often comes from nature, music, and human connection, as well as from my cultural heritage.

I currently live and work in Armenia, creating series that reflect both inner landscapes and collective memories. Each piece tells a story — of hope, renewal, and the endless search for light.
