Mosaics

My mosaics symbolize the ephemeral eternity, this bitter sweet oxymoron. Let me explain: Our life is a mosaic of memories, moments, roads, fragments in various colors, shades, shapes. The ephemerality of life is shown by the fact that the pieces are broken, only some parts remain...we are left only with memories, feelings… Everything passes, everything is ephemeral! BUT these fleeting “moments” are eternal to ME, no one can take them away or erase them, no one can deny them. All put together, they form MY OWN eternity! Even after they have passed or even life itself ceases, they have happened, they remain in that period of time and have no way of “ceasing “ to exist, by the very fact that they happened! Thus they become eternal!
