Juan Martín is a contemporary artist and writer based in Junín, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. His creative practice spans painting, photography, video directing, and music, embodying a relentless exploration of the subconscious through an eclectic fusion of expressionism and geometry. His creative process is a harmonious blend of spontaneity and meticulous planning. At times, he is swept away by bursts of creativity that yield several works in a single day; at other moments, he dedicates days to perfecting a single piece. Each work is original and handcrafted in his studio, offering a unique insight into his inner world. In recent years, his work has gained significant recognition in the art scene. In 2024, he showcased his aclaimed art piece "Todos sus ángeles" at the 40th Salon of Junín Artists at the MUMA and participated in the 2nd Edition of “Activating Artists” at Fundación Casa Pronto. Currently, his work is featured in the ongoing ENTELEQUIA exhibition at Galería de Arte Tono Local (February 6 – March 6, 2025). In addition to his artistic endeavors, Juan Martín works as a philosophy teacher and finds solace in music and moments of quiet reflection. His art seeks to give form to the intangible, capturing both pain and beauty, and transforming the unconscious into a powerful, healing narrative.
