Evgeniya Ersoy

Artist Evgenia Ersoy is originally from Siberia and has a degree in engineering, but she found her creative path in Turkey. This country became her second home, where she currently lives and works. Her works harmoniously intertwine Eastern and Western cultures, forming a unique visual language.

Her love for geometry, inherited from her engineering background, and a deep interest in world cultures led her to study ornaments. She sees these ornaments as a key to understanding cultural codes and history.

In her work, Evgenia Ersoy uses the classical technique of miniature painting, which, in her opinion, invites the viewer to co-create. Each miniature is not just an image but a story where everyone can find their own meaning. Evgenia Ersoy's works will be featured at an exhibition in Istanbul in November 2025, with three more exhibitions planned for 2026.
