Depression, anxiety, these things effect humanity in ways that astound the mind. As a chain coils around those bound and trapped, so does the power of seeing one's self as incomplete, disgusting, powerless, useless. To break free from these binds is to know happiness. For myself, art was the way to inner peace. With each brushstroke, I purge the filth and decay that clings to my very existance. With each work of art, I share a piece of myself, hoping all will understand my pain. I ask you to look within, find that which hurts you, and destroy it through the power of creation. Let the light shine.
