Ann Delorme

I like experimenting in materials for sculpture and painting. In my large studio, in my bungalow in Pune, I work the whole day, filling up my sketchbooks and scribbling on blank canvases. A lot of sunlight comes in from large windows. I like to paint bright pictures and this new series Cygnus 678 is more from doodling ideas on the canvas, or from pictures I click at random, or like on the net. Mind you, I don't directly copy anything, I just sketch a general idea and work it out from there.
After having several exhibitions in my hometown and Mumbai, I would like to have an exhibition abroad. I am working towards an exhibition in a gallery in Sydney, Australia, where my nephew and his family have settled down. I would also like to exhibit in a gallery in Britain and the US. I am working towards it.

I studied Fine Arts in J.J School of Art, Mumbai.
