Howard Schneider

Howard Schneider is a designer, educator, Los Angeles native and a published member of the greater art and design educational community. He has received both MFA snd BA degrees from California State University Los Angeles.

Mr. Schneider created design and advertising solutions for a broad variety of clients as Howard Schneider Design in Pasadena while serving as lecturer for nearly 20 years at California State University Northridge, He also enjoyed leading numerous courses at Pasadena Community College and Academy of Art University, San Francisco.

His 14+ year independent inquiry into the dissemination of design principles and principles of rhythm was published in November 2022 (; FATE in Review 2021-2022, volume 38). His beliefs in the service of rhythm – whether as a visually dominant driver or as a barely visible form of cadence – are relative to the notion that rhythm may indeed be a salient touchpoint between human existence and the infinite or intangible.
