Lara Spadetto

My name is Lara Spadetto and I'm an Italian artist.

Painting is part of my life since the early years, it is oxygen without which I cannot live.

I love to experience new creative paths in art and let myself be guided by sensation. This leads me to live moments of frustration, illuminated by an energizing joy when I find what I was unknowingly looking for.

I am obsessed with equilibrium. Inside the canvas, the cardboard, or whatever surface I am using, the search for harmony is fundamental. The balance between colours, order and chaos, light and shadow.

A metaphor for life, where everything lives in perfect equilibrium, nothing makes sense without its opposite.

After a two-year course in advertising illustration in Milan, I worked in a local newspaper, in animation, as a scene designer in a scenographic lab and as an illustrator and graphic designer.
