Matthieu Van Riel

Inspiration for my work comes from many walks along flower- and tulip fields, along the North Sea coast, in polders, heathlands and forests in the Netherlands and rugged mountainous regions in Scandinavia and the Alps.

Since 1988 I have been working full-time as a professional visual artist in my own studio.
