This low-poly portrait of Frida Kahlo captures the essence of the iconic artist through the minimalist geometry of triangles, rendered in grayscale. Born and raised in Kyiv, I grew up surrounded by art — my father was an artist, and my mother worked at an art school. Creativity was never just a hobby; it was the language of our home. That early immersion shaped my eye for form, balance, and storytelling through design. My artistic path took a profound turn when my eldest son was diagnosed with blood cancer at the age of three. In the stillness of fear and uncertainty, I rediscovered art — not as a profession, but as a way to breathe. From that experience emerged my signature low-poly style: portraits built entirely from triangles, where every sharp angle and precise edge mirrors the fragments of emotion and resilience within us. Each piece is both a reconstruction and a revelation — chaos transformed into harmony, brokenness into beauty. Today, my work continues to explore the dialogue between structure and vulnerability, blending geometric order with deeply human stories. I believe that art, at its core, is a form of healing — a way to turn pain into light.
