Fernando Audiffred

I was born in Oaxaca in 1957.
From 1970 to 1995 I lived in Oaxaca City. I also have been active in Oaxaca art scene since the 70's.
for 43 years I have observed and analyzed the great masters work, who have been my favourites. Such as Rembrandt, with his chiaroscuro, watching the transition and application of color and textures, from its glare, lights, glare, shadows and semi-darkness, and also the wonderful use of light of Van Gogh, with the implementation of brushstrokes short or long, that those textures generates light and perspective in an expression of joy in which light is trapped, not forgetting the absorption of detail of the general unity of the picture, so also other masters as Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo, Cezanne, Renoir, Toulouse Lautrec, Gaugin, Pizzarro, Kandinsky, kokoschka, Mondrian, Vasareli, Miro, Picasso and others like Tamayo with his impressive prehispanic cosmology studies, linked to world culture and all embodied in the execution of their work with the grisaille technique, masterfully handled with the application of vibrant textures as a rainy evening.

I studied painting under the restorer Primitivo García and the artist painter León Zurita.
I have a civil enginnering degree and a master in architecture and restoration.
