Nahid Aamina

I am a contemporary visual artist and art educator based in India, with over eight years of dedicated studio practice. My work explores the emotional language of landscapes through loose, expressive brushwork and layered abstraction.

Rather than depicting specific places, I interpret nature as memory — horizons, shifting light, atmosphere, and stillness. My paintings balance movement and calm, combining intuitive mark-making with structured composition. Each piece is an exploration of space, depth, and the subtle tension between warmth and quiet.

Over the years, my work has been selected for international exhibitions, including juried shows and biennales. I continue to evolve my practice through experimentation with color relationships, texture, and contemporary abstraction.

Through my work, I aim to create paintings that feel grounding yet expansive — pieces that bring a sense of presence and refined energy into modern interiors
