Onno Niessen

I try to catch the all day live into my drawings, mostly the things that amaze, me or make me laugh or smile. Most people see my work as colourfull, bright and often with a message or story. It is in general quit small, size between A4 and A3.
My techniques are mostly water-based, such as aquarel, or water pastels.
I have worked with all kind of techniques for the last 50 years and what you see is what is left. I have made large oil paintings, etchings and so on.

In my daily live I work as a consultant in Human Resources. I was born in 1964 in the South The Netherlands. We have 2 daughters, one adopted from China, born in1999 and 2003, both adults and having their own lives. I love nature, and sometimes the city.

I work in the 'people business': Bachelor in HR and business administration.
Black belt in lean manufacturing / processing, all about behaviour.
