My work usually has its beginnings in the chaotic subliminal drawings which at the same time are the most significant part of the whole process, because the idea hardly ever appears before the first lines of the sketch are traced. It emerges later and turns into specific graphic or three-dimensional form. Asymmetry, bio-morphic shapes and structures of the elements are arising naturally to me and preponderate most of my works. The concept for my later projects came out of my interest in the issue of perpetual motion, but all above inspiration by the works of a Dutch artist / engineer Theo Jansen. Much like him, I try to make my sculptures autonomous responsive to the changing environment in the form of motion or light. My work also involves the exploration of the plasticity of various media and never-ending experiments.
