Mastura Khamro

I am Mastura Khamro, an artist and graphic designer. I studied at the Kamoliddin Behzod Institute, specializing in film art, and participated in an exchange program at Gachon University in South Korea. I have worked in the film industry as a costume designer, taught fine arts in elementary school, and served as a graphic designer at an advertising agency. Currently, I work as a freelancer, run a Sketchbook Club for quick sketches with both adults and children, and conduct workshops. I create patterns and experiment with fabric in my artistic practice.

I have participated in several exhibitions and art residencies, including:
• “Regeneration” – an exhibition of emerging artists of Uzbekistan.
• “Neuyat” – organized by the Nemolchi initiative, focusing on socially significant themes.
• A Data Art Exhibition, where I explored the intersection of data and visual storytelling.

Additionally, I have been part of various art residencies, where I further developed my creative practice and collaborated with other artists. These experiences have greatly enriched my artistic journey.
