Seen as in Blouin Art info -Bahrain based artist Ella Prakash is best known for her inventive techniques and vibrant use of colors. She started her art career in 1984. With a lifelong fascination with painting, art has been a way for her to express her perceptions and her dreams. Her technique tells a story with a paintbrush or a palette knife, and her mediums are oil, watercolor, and acrylic. She focuses closely on the medium of painting, which seems almost like a liberation, opening up the potential to give the issues of form and background, space, areas, and lines a new level of concentrated dynamism. She changes the medium and the palette depending on a series of works; her current abstract series are "Embracing the Universe’ in oil on canvas and "Eternal Echoes" in watercolor on paper. She challenges herself to unlearn the pattern of control she seeks in representation, thus reinventing the language of anatomy, chiaroscuro, and storytelling. Her paintings are distinctive for their bold brush strokes; she expresses her work through a palette knife using vibrant colors; the end result is a direct and spontaneous gesture on canvases and paper, which gives these paintings their inescapable explosiveness. *******Artist statement ******* After 2013 life took a significant change, I became more observant of life and who i am. I was pulled to the ideas that had brought me so much inner peace, and I translated my creativity to the mediums that were easily communicated via them these concepts are my focus now and I find the creative process to be incredibly potent. These artistic works served as my inspiration for an inner soul journey, guiding me through life's stages so that I may experience various levels of consciousness and progress. Each piece has been a source of strength for me, illuminating my identity's route and fundamental nature.
