About Stephanie Pyren-Fortel Stephanie currently resides in Florida with her husband.She is a member of the Jacksonville Artist Guild and The national Guild of American Pen Women. I have had over 21 solo and group showing Nationally and internationally. I have illustrated six Children’s picture books and other academic manuscripts. My illustrated book "Away up high where Dragons fly, will be available in Amazon next month My talent and interests is somewhat diverse and has taken her to numerous locations and professions. She received her BA of Fine Arts at California State University Northridge then started working professionally at the age of 19 and have worked in all the major animation studios in Los Angeles California as a character and background artist For 40 plus years. I have also have been involved in toy developed with Small World Toys and the Little Old Toy Maker. Yes, I have also taught life drawing and fashion illustration at the University of South Carolina.A wonderful part of my career was when I was asked to move to Barbizon France to help recreate the famous School of Barbizon at the request of famous French painter Jacques Harvey, In France I continued to be commissioned for paintings and murals both private and public enterprises. As a fine artist, I am proficient in all Medias. I am very happy that I continue to exhibit and my clientele of prominent collectors continues to grow.
