Kalpavriksha -Tree of Life Painting

Born and brought up in the land of diversity and rich cultural heritage India, I have always been in tune with my creative self and continue to passionately polish my artistic skills relying on my practice and my own sense of direction. My intimacy with nature inspires me to create which makes me more of a landscape artist. I work in a variety of mediums like oil, acrylics, and pastels. But due to the humid weather conditions of where I live, more often I choose to work with the medium of acrylics. Merging abstracts with realism, a style that seems distinctive is adding to my body of work..Working with a limited palette is something I truly enjoy as it puts me through the creation of colors and also brings a sense of harmony to my paintings. My paintings begin with the thought “What do I want to create today?” and the answer leads me to draw inspiration from nature, visualizations, reference photos, paintings which bring the process to form. “I want my viewers to not only stand to see my paintings but to feel them.” “For art is nothing but Magic.”
