Jeanne is a southern artist from Fayetteville, NC. She is passionate about all things art. She finds painting brings her a sense of peace and serenity as she paints the world around her. She is inspired by her love of wide open spaces and the sense of freedom it brings her and the viewer. She enjoys painting landscapes, seascapes, figures and florals. She typically works with acrylic paints and gel mediums because of the fast drying time, using both palette knives and brushes. She likes to build layers and layers in her art. Movement and texture are also important aspects of her work. Jeanne's love of impressionism, expressionism, contemporary and abstract art influence her painting style.
