Dynamic and idiosyncratic in style, McKenzie favours large canvas to embrace the viewer within the experience, rather than exclude. His favour for using oil/ paints and brushes allows him to create sweeping three dimensional movements that are created by the confines of a brush. His brush strokes are indeed a feast for the eye and displaying his love of colour despite being completely colour blind. Colin Mckenzie graduated in fashion and worked in various fashion houses around the world. Colin abandoned fasion and trained as a chef and works at Fountain TV studios, the largest independent TV studios in the UK. Colin's passion is, however, still art although he now concentrates solely on painting. He currently lives in Harlesden where much of his influence and inspiration comes. He has just had held his third exhibition od his work in the Menier Gallery, London, and has had his work displayed in the Red Gate Gallery, the Candid gallery and also at Wembley Stadium.
