I was born in 1985 in Achim which is close to Bremen (in Northern Germany), was raised in Bremen and am now an owner of a Bachelor degree in Biology. In the winter term 2010/11 I will continue my studies with the Master of Ecology at the University of Bremen. However, after finishing my studies I'd like to work rather in a creative field than in science as my passion for photgraphy and web and graphic design is much stronger than for science. Hope things will turn out in my favor! My addiction to creativity pervades my whole life and was apparently passed on to me by my mother (). To me, drawing was the best thing on earth for quite a long time. But in 1999, when I heard from the internet, my one and only wish was to own a website. Consequently, my graphical ambitions were ruled out by designing and coding a website which are crucial to get one. It was just a matter of time when this passion was softened, too. Nevertheless, I am still intrested in graphic and web design and especially all the technical stuff that is behind it. ;-) Finally, photgraphing forged ahead! I got my first camera when I was 11 years old and it was an analog wide angle cam: Revue 400 S. Afterwards, I got a point-and-shoot version. At the same time, I made experiments with our video cam which was able to take still photographs. In 2005, we got the first digital cam (Olympus C-700 UZ) that I am still taking all the photos with. Of course, I'm dreaming of owning a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera!!! ;-)
