Dina Dubina

Dina Dubina (Dina Dubiņa), born in Riga.

Graduate of Riga Secondary School of Art and Design, and Art Academy of Estonia (master grade).

Participates in exhibitions since 1974. Has taken part in about 200 exhibitions in Latvia, Russia, Germany, Austria, Japan, Denmark and other countries. More than 20 personal exhibitions in Riga, Russia, Germany and Austria. Has also worked with organization and arrangement of exhibitions. Awarded Diploma of Honour in International exhibitions of bijouterie ‘’Jablonec 77’’ and ‘’Jablonec 83’’. Artworks can be found in museums of Latvia, Russia, Germany. Currently works using hot enamel technique – paintings, miniatures, ornaments, silk costumes, kerchiefs, scarfs painted in author techniques. Member of Artist Union of Latvia. The Founding Prezident of Rotary Club of Sigulda, its President in the period of 2008-2010.
Silk clothes, painted using author techniques are created in collaboration with sewing expert Sandra Strautmane.
Items with golden decoration are created using author techniques, moisture and sunlight resistant.
All artworks are created using author techniques, although enamels are the same that were used by renowned Fabergé company.
Items created using hot enamel technique are repeatedly annealed in the temperature of 1000°C, thereby they are sunlight and moisture resistant, practically, everlasting. Such items...
