my trinity

DOG, GOD: three letters, two opposing words, with mankind at the center.
I have worked from this idea for a long time. Maybe it has been in me since before I was born.

Based on the Bible, I create works from Genesis, adding logos, half-faces, and sexual imagery.
Works created from the Apocalypse incorporate seven churches, at Epheses, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatire, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodice. These feature codes, numbers, violence, blood and weapons.

The connections between the canvases, papers, films and poems run together,
creating a confluence or network, building an encoded and unfinished project, whose meaning I don't yet know.
I am gradually disentangling the meaning of the art through conversations with people who see my work, attempting to discover deeper meaning in the process.

I balance my more human side on the thin line between instinct and aspiration.
I hate DOG, I don't believe in GOD.
