Mara Goldie is an Italian artist with Argentine roots, based in Switzerland. Trained as an architect, her artistic research explores the intersection of urban perception and visual memory, transforming city fragments into rhythmic compositions through pointillism. She captures these fragments through her own photography and then reinterprets them, pushing markers beyond their conventional use to create depth and color density reminiscent of painting. The repeated marks in her work become a language that narrates the city through patterns and emerging structures. Her work is deeply influenced by the concept of spatial entanglement, borrowed from quantum physics and applied to the perception of the built environment. In her compositions, architecture dissolves into visual vibrations, and spaces interconnect in unexpected ways, inviting the viewer to decipher hidden relationships. Splitting her time between London and Zurich, she navigates between architecture and art, reinterpreting the city as a living fabric of memory, transformation, and dynamic connections.
