Artist and curator, I explore themes of identity, memory, and transformation through diverse media, including painting, performance, and augmented reality (AR). My practice reflects a complex journey—from my birthplace in Crimea, through years in Russia, to my current life in Georgia. These transitions have shaped my understanding of adaptation and self-reinvention, inspiring a universal artistic language. Recently, I have been working on ungessoed canvas, a technique that reflects my current focus on mobility and ease of transportation. This approach allows paint to interact with the raw texture of the fabric, creating tactile depth and emphasizing the dialogue between material and intent. While I find inspiration in the ideas and methods of artists like Claude Monet, René Magritte, Ilya Kabakov, and Maurizio Cattelan, I have cultivated a style distinctly my own. These influences serve as tools I reinterpret to realize my vision. Each work becomes an invitation to dialogue, an exploration of resilience and renewal, which lie at the heart of my practice.
