Spent most of childhood in London. I love to paint figurative work showing emotions and daily life experiences. I try to capture the mystery of inner dialogue outwardly expressed. I am fascinated by expressions and the colours of skin. I mainly paint in oils (Michael Harding)as I love the texture. Nearly all the people in my work are people I know with backgrounds made up from the imagination. 'Peel a layer and look beneath the surface.'
