"Infinity" Print

My name is Magdalena Piwko-Chudzik, I am an interdisciplinary artist, my main media are workshop graphics, ceramics, painting and weaving. I experiment with combining different media, giving them a new artistic dimension. I care about the long process of creation and searching for one's own self in meditation. Oscillating around man, his corporeality and psyche. The connection of consciousness, soul, mind, physical form. My works are not intended solely for decoration, but to reflect on human existence, reflecting on the questions: Is what we are looking for within us? Are these my thoughts? Or someone else? What causes the inner emptiness? In his works, he often refers to the existential fabric, engaging in narratives with the viewer. As humans, we are so similar to each other, yet each of us has something unique about us. My works are conceptual and multi-meaning, forcing the viewer to make their own interpretation. I live for art and from art, I share my passion and knowledge. I am socially active (Association of Polish Painters and Graphic Designers - treasurer), I do charity work by entrusting my works to auctions: WOSP Lille France, Rotary International, Ogród Nadziei and others. I am a curator of exhibitions and organizer of outdoor events for children and adults. I take part in many national and international exhibitions and have won awards. In September 2023, I won the first prize "Human Image Exhibit" in the USA Florida at the Broward Art Guild County, for works from the series "Graphic tapestries - Ephemerality". I studied Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, I obtained my master's degree with honors in graphic arts and I completed an annex to my diploma in painting. I live and create in a house surrounded by a forest near Warsaw. There I also run my own ceramics studio, Foremka, in cooperation with the Municipal Cultural Center. I teach drawing and painting. My works can be found in galleries, museums and art fairs in Poland and around the world.
