Robert George Young

Robert’s work stuns and instructs. These soulful, refined, large-scale prints dramatically change the way we see those things in nature that we think we’ve seen before. Using specialized, largely unexplored, camera and software techniques, radial-patterned sand dollars, powder-soft petals and gorgeously flawed feathers are caught and frozen to reveal details that are astonishing, enchanting…inexhaustible.
Subject selection, lighting and composition are carefully controlled to convey the intrinsic beauty, the juxtaposition of strength and frailty, to tap the sense of discovery, and to increase the appreciation for nature and our graceful planet.
