Rosmarie Gehriger

Born in 1944 in Switzerland, raised in Oekingen (near Solothurn).

Currently lives in Basel (CH).

I am a paintress (mostly acrylic), etcher, and I make installations

My work can be seen in Takarazuka (Japan), Basel and other Swiss cantons (Switzerland), Arnay-le-Duc (France)

Apprenticeship in commerce and communications, later art education in Barcelona (Bellas Artes, Prof Assumpcio Mateu) and Basel

In Barcelona I studied etching with Marzo Mart, and later with Hansjürg Brunner in Münchringen (CH)

1998: Opening of etching studio in Lörrach (D), later in Basel (until 2014).

2002: Works partly at the company Kambly in Trubschachen (near Berne)
