Over 40 years of photographing and exploring the Sierra Nevada mountains and the coast of California for the right location and conditions to make an image that meet expectations. Focus is on the details within the landscape by maintaining the highest resolution and sharpness possible in the final enlargement.

for large format quality. In preserving the smallest landscape details the photograph is able to share with
the viewer a new reality and unique sense of place with each work.
Currently working on the video series "OCEAN SERIES" for home and public use

Tom is an american artist who was born in Fort Walton, Florida. He has been interested in photography since grade school, starting with a Kodak brownie camera. He Graduated from University of Dallas, Texas with studies in photography, sculpture and printing.
He also did 4 years graduate art studies at the University of Texas, in Austin. There he studied photography with Garry Winogrand. Today he uses the best equipment available including the Phase One Camera and Fuji 6X9 still camera. His focus has always been on landscapes of the Sierra Nevada mountains and ocean along the California coast at such places as Big Sur, Point Reyes, and the Sonoma Coast. One of his projects includes video scenes of the ocean in slow motion for large LED screens in public setting. These he shows to interior designers of large architectural firms such as Norman Foster, Gensler, SOM and Perkins + Wills.
His artistic influences include Joseph Cornell, Rene Magritte, John Baldessari and Ansel Adams
Tom lives in the Bay Area near San Francisco with his wife Marge.
