Part of the Ephemera Collection This series captures the transient omens, moods, and impressions that arrive like weather across the psyche. "Want some color? I have all the color." Artist | Creative Technologist I work across high culture and fast culture, from oil pastel to extended reality, tracing the ways rhythm, space, and sensation move through different forms. My practice resists containment by medium; it’s a continuous study in perception and tempo, whether expressed through pigment, code, or choreography. Trained in Digital Film, Games and Animation (BA, Leeds Arts University) with roots in Performance Design (University of Leeds), I’ve always sought the connective tissue between disciplines. The interplay of these studies led me into VR development, where narrative, movement, and spatial design converge. Expanding into analog painting was never a departure but an extension — another language in the same conversation. Through acrylic, oil pastel, and XR, I explore how atmosphere, rhythm, and emotion translate across both physical and virtual dimensions. Outside the studio, I practice ballet in a non-professional capacity, which informs my understanding of rhythm, balance, and spatial awareness. These elements underpin my visual composition as much as my movement. Ultimately, my work is an ongoing dialogue between permanence and ephemerality, stillness and acceleration — an attempt to capture how perception itself moves through color, form, and time.
