Ella Byrne

Ella Byrne is an emerging artist situated in Sydney, whose practice spans across the disciplines of drawing, video, sound and performance. Her work aims to critique traditional subjectivity through a Posthuman lens, exploring the self as multiplicitous, unfixed and irrational. Byrne recently completed her Honours year as part of the Bachelor of Fine Arts at UNSW Art & Design. She has exhibited and performed in multiple group shows across the last two years in sites such as Gaffa Gallery, 107 Projects, Oxford Art Factory and Kudos Gallery.
