In this watercolor, I portrayed Marianne Moore posing as a Schiele model. My style (at least as far as this work is concerned), could be reminiscent of Ali Cavanaugh's.

I was born in 1970 in Altamura (Ba) and resurrected here. Until recently I was known only as: I published a cult novel: Nicola Rubino joined the writer factory (Feltrinelli, 2004 - Terrarossa, 2017); I list the following: Someone came out alive from the Eighties (Stilo, 2014), La gente per bene (Terrarossa, 2018), Beware of the dog! AA.VV. (Laterza, Editions of the Library, 2019), AA.VV. I tell you a song (Arcana Editore), and The mechanics of the sofa (Ensemble Edizioni, 2021), among the 74 four titles presented at the Premio Strega 2022. At the contemporary, I have always been interested in painting and illustration, as a self-taught. I paint in oil, acrylic, watercolor, ink, pencils and digitally. In 2014 I deepened my background as an illustrator by participating in a Publishing Workshop; among others there was a course in Visual Design directed by Riccardo Falcinelli, art director Einaudi, Laterza, Minimumfax, etc. Since then he has collaborated with various publishers, always as an illustrator (eg: Terrarossa Edizioni, Les Flaneurs, Ensemble, Stilo, Tempesta, Antonio Mandese).
