Hi, my name is Nika Sun. I am an artist with a higher artistic, academic education. I was born and grew up in Russia in St. Petersburg. I draw all my life. Professionally since 2003. My childhood was saturated, but not simple. I survived 2 divorces of my parents, first my father took me away from my native mother when I was 4, already then I mastered the paint program. Then when I was 14 he left me with my stepmother. I grew up as a lone warrior. As a child I liked to close in my room, I painted walls, did decorations - decorated photo frames, watches and so on. I wanted to become an interior designer. I have always been by myself, it was difficult and not interesting for me to communicate with my classmates in English gymnasium. Professionally, I started drawing in 2003. I entered the Art School, then the Art Lyceum №190. There I was actively fond of fashion. I participated in and organized 2 fashion shows from unconventional materials. I had no free time, I always drew, went to courses to the honored artists of Russia. Then I entered the Stieglitz Academy at the costume design department. But I went to SPbGUPTD for interior design and got a diploma. I organized an exhibition for myself and my classmates, several personal exhibitions, at festivals, in the gallery "Colors of Life". First sales of paintings, orders for wall painting. Always traveled a lot and every year I realized that I do not belong in Russia. In 2019 I left my native St. Petersburg to live in Bali, where my creative potential was revealed and I in general. I did lots of murals here and launched my handmade kimono collection, which I hand-painted in an authentic style. I love loneliness. It is magic. In it you will know yourself and life more better. It is in solitude that I create all my paintings. Despite the fact that I am not alone. I am a contrast of contradictions: Communicative and sunny lady, but very closed. I love to be alone, but I am forming an ideal family. I am a crude realist with a naive child soul. I love white, as well as black. I am filled with love, but I am wounded many times, in me there are resentments and anger. Yes, I love, and sometimes I hate a lot, professionally hiding it. I can be the quietest in the company, and inside me there is a storm of emotions. I want children, but there is no one better than a dog. I am passionate and emotional. Now I can laugh, and in 5 minutes I will cry. I am light and I am darkness.
