Mari was born in Moscow. In 2022, she moved to the Massachusetts, USA. By education and profession, she has been an architect for over 25 years.

Mari always adores noticing the absurdity and surrealism in everyday life, as if reality lifts the edge of its curtain for her, and through this gap, she sees the backstage of the scenery. Equally, she always observes the unnoticed unusual facets in people around her. The individuality of each person fascinates her, and when she notices something special, she can't wait to capture it.
