Nik Golder

- 08\07\1959 born in Tavda, USSR (the exile of the parents)
- 1982-1987 Studies of painting at the artschool 'Feschin' (Jekatherinburg)
- 1987 Academic degree; diploma project: portrait
- 1984-1989 Studies of art history at the University Jekatherinburg
- 1987-1990 Co-founder and head of the Group 'Vernisage' (which now has important works at the Art-Museum Jekatherinburg)
- 1990 Return to Germany
- Since 1993 free artist
- Since 1996 maintaining the "Kunsthaus an der Jagst" (Widdern)
- Since 1997 intensive occupation with etching and lithography
- Since 1998 working also as sculptor (ceramics and sandstone)

Beside working as painter and sculptor he publishes to the subject of painting, its techniques and history.
