Artistic approach


Since I can ever remember, I have always been deeply touched by « beauty » which I try to translate in each one of my artistic creations.
Beauty to me it’s nature in all its magnificence, it’s women and men’s faces who have so much to tell thru their eyes, it’s children and their innocence … The Beauty I see that I can offer to those who discover my art work.
I have spent years analyzing, studying, trying to transcribe the great masters’ techniques such as Cezanne, Monet, Van Gogh in order to constantly try to improve and simplify the artistic touch.
I have also traveled a lot, discovered many new cultures, new horizons, new eyes … highly enriching discoveries who completed my artistic approach all along the years.
The main subjects depend on the emotion I feel while observing them … The work which follows responds solely to the heart.
The mediums used are oils, watercolor, pastels, graphite and sometimes ink.
I have a preference for blues, ochres, oranges.
Above all searching for the light… In nature’s contrasts, in people’s eyes …
The main quest has always been the same : reach fundamentals.
Remove appearances from shapes to reach the heart of their soul in all truth.
