Mariella Horianski

I was born in the city of Posadas, in the interior of the Argentine Republic. It is in a region of exuberant lush jungle, important courses of water, with warm temperatures, where the vibrant colors of the native flora and fauna are always present.
Land of European immigrants, I am of German descent and Ukrainian.
I have always been close to art. I followed these roads through the “Decorative art”: wood, porcelain, ceramics, sculpture, etc. In this tour I sought to deepen the formal knowledge together with the experience of “doing” and studies at the Chair of Fine Arts and Design.
Being married and with the first of three children in the family, we emigrated to Brazil to rewrite our history.
In a new country that developed under the light of German colonization, Italian and Polish, a melting pot of races and a welcoming population; with well-defined seasons, hot and cold, abundant natural colors and challenging geography, strong traditions, which together enhances sensitivity and emotion.
I was discovering my purpose to insight a reflection in those who allowed themselves to participate in a dialogue with my art work, and provoke a transformation in their life in that "instant".
