Each of us can dream of a better life or something we want to achieve, or better us! My hero works as an accountant and dreams to be an actress. Sometimes dreams come true. What attracts me in human faces is an emotion, feeling, and the kind of character that we can read into appearance. The life model or sitter not always can give me the opportunity to capture their emotion. This is one of the reasons I like sometimes to work with picture reference, especially if take photograph by myself. I have been drawing since I can remember myself. In my professional career, until recently, I have worked as a designer, graphics & concept artist in the commercial & gaming industry for about 10 years. Losing my job around COVID 19, seemed to me as a good opportunity to become a “real” artist now. And so I was carried away by the portrait. Attracted to explore and express emotions that stand behind the eyes, lips, and facial structure, I got to understand myself in the relationship with the model, my work, and the viewer. I am in love with pastels in this period of my life. What is my plan? To explore, experiment, create! Commissions are available upon request. Pricing is based on size and content.
