I am a native from Bogota, Colombia who have lived and studied for many years in Ecuador, USA and in Germany (for the last 10 years, among many other places I have visited). Traveling gave me the chance to open my mind, get to know other people, cultures, and grow as a person. It basically incremented my curiosity and showed me how to see things with different eyes and to question everything. Art has the potential to transgress the practical and technical constraints and limits imposed by cultural and social norms. At least in a reflective-creative way. It is through art that we can find ourselves reflected in a holistic way as humans, with all our passion and emotions as well as out relationship to our physicality and place in the world. I believe beyond a simple aesthetic experience, art and artist should question and transgress the norm. And that is what I try to do with my work. Open questions instead of providing answers
