In 1986, Bill began his career as a commercial illustrator/graphic designer in Dallas. He went on to win numerous honors, including Awards of Excellence from the Dallas Society of Visual Communications, Bronze Quill Award, International Association of Business Communications, Awards of Excellence from the Dallas Society of Illustrators and Addy Awards from the Dallas Ad League. In 2003, after years of providing award-winning commercial design and illustration he ventured into the local and national Fine Arts arena with his new collection of abstract drawings that were met with immediate reward selling twelve pieces of the new work within the first six months of exposure to local and national buyers. Most recently he has been working with new color images in pastel that have also been very well received. Bill is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art & Design and prior to that 2 years at the Kansas City Art Institute, where he majored in Graphic Design and minored in Illustration. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Bill currently lives in Dallas with his wife and two daughters.
