ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an original painting/drawing on paper card. This piece of work was created especially for a virtual exhibition by the Museum of Naive Art in Magog, Canada. The subject of the exhibition is depicting life under the influence of Covid 19. It is a scene from the view out the window but it is my imagination that tells the story. I hope that it will bring hope to the viewer during this seemingly confusing time. The storm is passing over and everything will come to light.

Exhibiting extensively in Europe and the U.K, her work is also in private collections worldwide and is licensed for wall-art in the United States. Antoinette's paintings are considered 'naive' in style, drawing mostly on her imagination. Her work invites the viewer to enter into her sometimes surreal world of dreams and fantasy. Solitary figures, animals and long shadows are recurring themes where there is always a little light to be found in the dark.
