Profesor investigador en el Departamento de Arte de la Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche. La mayor parte de su producción en su trayectoria como artista gira en torno a la figuración y la expresión con medios pictóricos y gráficos. En algunos de sus últimos proyectos pretende reflexionar acerca de la relación entre determinados asuntos espirituales, filosóficos y científicos, a través de la desmitificación y el cuestionamiento de convencionales percepciones, prejuicios o hegemónicos posicionamientos etno-culturales, sociales, y políticos. Como investigador se encuentra interesado por el devenir contemporáneo de la pintura del retrato y el paisaje, así como por las representaciones y problemáticas que surgen de la deformación y esencialización de conceptos tan complejos como son aquellos relacionados con lo islámico, la cultura e identidad religiosa y la colonialidad del poder, del saber y del ser.
