Mohammed Alhaj is a young Gazan artist. From the abstract portraits to the expressive ones as well as Pop-Art portraits , Alhaj Varies between the different stylistic modes in his artwork according to the different artistic schools. He was born in 1982-Libya.He got his Fine Art Bachelor degree in 2004 at Al-Aqsa University in Gaza City, Palestine. He underwent so many intensive training courses in draw and sculpture. Meanwhile he took part in various exhibitions and art-festivals inside and outside Palestine. Yet , as an artist from the Gaza strip ; a spot which is totally isolated from the rest of the Palestinian cities and the Arabian word too , Mohammed represents a role model for the young artist who experiences the contemporary world issues. "The challenges imposed upon the Palestinian artists are very complex and difficult since it suffers from not only from a constant war , but also siege, division and disintegration" says Alhaj.. EL-Hajj experience in art is profound and varied . He worked in prominent sculpture (relief) style , black -white graphics, the colorful graphic and also abstractions .the viewer would taste the implied concepts and modes in his unique artworks which will obviously depict the Arabian and Palestinian spirit.
